In case you haven’t heard the BIG news yet, Just Peachy Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest in April!
I have slowly share all of the wonderful participants with you over the past week and each of our winners (one from each age category) will win over $600 in fabulous prizes!
To sum everything up….

Just Peachy Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest! Beginning on April 15th, you will be able to submit a photo of your cutest kid through email. You will have 2 weeks to send your child’s photo to us to be entered into the contest. Voting starts May 1st!
There are 2 categories in this contest and therefore 2 BIG winners! The first one is babies ages 0-1 year old and the second is children ages 1-5 years old.
The winner of each category will receive a FREE portrait session with Just Peachy Photography, as well as a portrait package, including 1 8×10, 2 5×7′s, 2 4×6′s and one set of 8 wallets of full edited images of their choice.
The winners will also receive prizes from a few other local businesses with some fabulous prizes! I will introduce one of each of these wonderful businesses and their donations to the contest each day after this announcement!
Here are the details or rules of the contest:
TO ENTER
* One entry per child
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest
* Child must be exactly 1 year or younger on the date of entry for category one OR 1-5 years old on the date of entry for category two
* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter (cannot be taken by professional/no watermarked or heavily edited images)
* Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months
* Photos will be accepted from April 15th, 2011 at 12:01 am CST until April 30th, 2011 at 11:59 pm CST via e-mail
* Only photos e-mailed to Erika@justpeachyphotog.com with the Subject line JUST PEACHY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST during the previously mentioned time will be accepted
* Include your child’s name and age (in months under 1 year old) in the e-mail (first name and age will be posted for viewing), as well as your name and contact information
(full name, email phone numberm, city and state)
* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 20 mile radius from Palatine, IL, you must choose a location within 20 miles of Palatine, IL for your prize session, or a travel fee will be charged of 85 cents per mile, each direction, beyond 20 (limited to 35 miles)
HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED
* All entries will be uploaded into an album by Just Peachy Photography no later than May 1st, 2011, on our facebook fan page. http://www.facebook.com/justpeachyphotog
* To vote for a photo you MUST be a ‘fan’ (or under the new facebook system ‘like’) Just Peachy Photography (that is the only way to comment or “like” the photo to vote)–please explain this to friends and family you send there to vote
* Click ‘like’ for the photo you are voting for in the Just Peachy Photography album labeled ‘Spring 2011 Cutest Kid Contest’ (there be two folders-choose the correct age category with your child)
* Make sure you post the contest on your page and tell people why you want to win to get them to vote! Voting only takes a minute or two!
* Photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the winner. Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes
* Voting will close May 16th, 2011 at 10:00 am CST
* Official winner will be notified and announced on the Just Peachy Photography blog no later than May 20th, 2011.
WHAT YOU WILL WIN
* The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most ‘likes’ will receive a free family portrait session with Just Peachy Photography, 1 8×10 photo, 2 5×7 photos, 2 4×6 photos, and 1 set of 8 wallets as well as prizes by other participating vendors (to be announced soon).
* Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before October 15th, 2011.
* Prize retail value of $250 plus other vendor prizes can NOT be altered or changed in any way, and not redeemable for cash
* Additional prints and products will be available for purchase at retail prices provided from Just Peachy Photography (email for product guide)
* No other promotions or discounts can be applied
Other prizes for age category 0-1 years old include:
* Nibbles Play Cafe has generously donated a $100 gift certificate for a first birthday party (during their public hours) which includes admission, goodie bags and a cupcake decorating activity for 10 kids!
* Mother’s Helpers will generously waive the one time family fee for their services ($150 value)
* Pirate and Pixie is generously donating a $25 gift certificate towards any of their products.
Other prizes for age category 1-5 years old include:
* The Storybook Mom has generously donated a child’s birthday storytime (value $185) for up to 15 kids in the Chicago or North Suburban area. This is a custom designed theme for ages 1-6.
* Mother’s Helpers will generously waive the one time family fee for their services ($150 value)
* Pirate and Pixie is generously donating a $25 gift certificate towards any of their products.
