What a lovely day I had Sunday with some dear friends!  I still remember when their sweet kids were born and can’t believe how big they are getting.  We had a nice breeze, the sun was in and out which made our lighting options a lot of fun, and the kids came with a lot of energy.   Did I mention I had a lot of fun!  Here is a little sneak peek of our session in Lake Zurich this past peek.  Hope the H Family loves these images of their adorable kids as much as I do!

What a sweet group of kids I got to photograph this past weekend. I had really worried about the weather later in the week but we had a perfect morning for portraits. It was a little cooler than the weather we had been having a week ago but the sun was out and we found a beautiful location.

Big brothers L and L hammed it up for the camera most of the session but little L took awhile to warm up to me and the camera. Once she did, I had a little diva giving me her adorable “model” smile (as I called it).

Sweet Baby H was born a few weeks early and is the perfect size. He gave us a little trouble at first but once we got him to go to sleep, we got some super cute images. I love this little monkey hat on him too! I will post another image soon but just wanted to give his wonderful parents a quick sneak peek from the weekend’s session.

I thought Monday was a good day for some huggable twins! They are my babies and it is always hard to believe how small they started. Every day I can’t believe how big they are getting. We attempted some family portraits last night, which didn’t work out how I planned but at least I got one amazing image of my boys. This one is going up BIG on my walls! Can’t wait! Hopefully we’ll get our family portraits done right next weekend:)

Today was one of those days where you didn’t know if the session was going to be canceled or not. The day started with clouds and ended with clouds. Even though that wasn’t my original image for this session, it worked out beautifully. I am very happy with the soft light we did get this evening and I’m sure you can see how adorable this family is waiting for their newest member.

I love photographing twins! They are just so cute! Since I have boys, I especially loved photographing these pink little princesses and their very sweet older brother. These two kept me on my toes but I think these images captured their very adorable but different personalities.

I think the title says it all. Mix a quiet serene location, a beautiful evening and a woman full of life (literally) and you have these amazing images. I had this vision awhile back and after months of planning, finding the perfect subject (model), and rescheduling once due to the weather, it finally happened.

M was the perfect model and I have to say we had a lot of fun! We got wet and dirty, had some laughs and made an experience worth talking about for years to come. More importantly we captured a beautiful moment in M’s life, while she was expecting her little girl. I can’t wait to meet little S in a month or so.
