Over the holiday weekend, I got to photograph a beautiful family who just welcomed a new baby over the summer! Not only was I excited to meet the new member of their family but also to see how big the other two have gotten! It is so hard to believe how much kids grow in a year or two. I see it in my own kids but really see it with my returning clients. Thank you for having me capture more special moments for your family!

Many of you may be in the same boat as I am this month and that is hosting The Thanksgiving holiday! My husband and I do it almost every year and I’m pretty sure we learn something new every year as well. He does the turkey and I do almost all of the rest. Of course holidays require planning and the more organized I stay, the less stressed I get! I want to share some of my organization freebies with you this holiday season! Thanksgiving Meal Planner

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of capturing some beautiful memories for the D Family! They even brought their super adorable 9 lb. Yorkie. Since I have a Yorkie myself, I was very fond of M. She had a lot of spunk and kept running over to give me kisses. The funny part is that I usually had my camera up by my face and didn’t know she was there until I felt it! Even though it was a little chilly, we were able to get some beautiful portraits of I, the whole family and I with her parents and doggy. It is really a special job I have that I’m able to have a glimpse into the lives of so many wonderful families. I really cherish those moments and love that I can provide them with beautiful portraits to hang on their walls and enjoy forever! I love that we had a great time chasing the dog, playing in leaves and attempting not to get blown away by some fierce winds that came through.
I hope the D Family loves these as much as I do!

Over the weekend I got to see how big one of our Cutest Kid Contest winners was getting! Little C wasn’t so little anymore! He is still super cute and hammed it up for me throughout our fun session in the forest preserve. I had a blast with little C, his mom and dad and his 2 dogs too! It was the perfect temperature and the light wasn’t even too bad for this time of year!

I hope his family enjoys these as much as I do!
