It is time! The Spring Cutest Kid Contest is close to starting! It is hard to believe that a whole year has gone by since the start of last year’s contest. We have SO many amazing prizes available again this year! Below are the rules for the contest. We will only be accepting a maximum of 40 participants this year.
Here are the details:
TO ENTER
* One entry per family.
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest.
* Child must be 5 years old or younger on the date of entry.
* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter (cannot be taken by professional).
* Photo must have been taken in the last month.
* Photos will be accepted from April 18th, 2012 at 12:01AM until Friday, May 11th 11:59PM via e-mail.
* Only photos e-mailed to Erika@justpeachyphotog.com with the Subject line JUST PEACHY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST during the previously mentioned time will be accepted.
* Copy and paste the following information into your email.
-Child’s First Name:
-Child’s Age at time of entry:
-Parent’s Name (first and last):
-Parent’s Home Address and phone number:
-Parent’s Email Address:
-“I give Just Peachy Photography permission to use my child’s photo in the Spring Cutest Kid Contest 2012. I understand that their photo, first name and age will be posted publically for voting purposes. I also understand that I must sign a full model release form and either scan and email it or mail it to Just Peachy Photography for usage of their photo before my child is officially entered into the contest.”
* Contest is open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 20 mile radius from Palatine, IL, you must choose a location within 20 miles of Palatine, IL for your prize session, or a travel fee will be charged of 85 cents per mile, each direction, beyond 20 (limited to 40 miles). Also some sponsors have restrictions on their prizes so read them carefully.
HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED
* All entries will be posted on the Just Peachy Photography website into 2 posts, separated into girls and boys separately. Each photo will be numbered and have child’s first name and age posted.
* Voters will be required to fill out a form and can vote for one girl and one boy. All voters will have the opportunity to enter a drawing with a prize given at the end of the contest. All voters may also gain “extra” entries into the drawing by participating in following or subscribing to our sponsors social networking pages and/or mailing lists.
* Children with the most votes will be the winner. Comments permitted on website posts, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes. Number of votes will NOT be posted but we will try to give the top 3 participants on Facebook a few times a week to daily.
* Voting will close on May 31st, 2012 at 11:59PM.
* Official winner will be notified and announced on the Just Peachy Photography blog no later than June 15th, 2012 at 10PM.
