My Story
I believe in living in the present moment. We cannot change the past or predict the future so we have the opportunity to enjoy every moment as it is and make the most of it. My job is to capture the beauty in those moments with my vision and my camera that you can look back on for years and even generations to come. It is the little details and unique expressions of love that make a difference and I love to preserve those moments in my sessions with clients. Together we will tell your story. I love to make each session unique yet true to my personal style and talent.
With over 12 years of experience photographing babies and families, I am really dedicated to getting the most natural expressions and genuine interactions with family members. I prefer a simpler location or set up in studio to really showcase my clients and their unique features or relationship with each other. I think about what moments would make a future version of my client smile, tear up, or laugh when they see their portraits. I aim to make our session and experience memorable too so that you share with everyone you know. I want to be sure my clients' portraits are enjoyed and not forgotten which is why I encourage printing and displaying their favorite images from their session and even offer a full service studio with unique and one of a kind high quality products.

Things I Love
When you are choosing your photographer, you should feel comfortable with them as they will be holding your newborn baby or be with you through intimate family moments. I would describe myself as a very peaceful person that sees the best in life. I am patient and always feel completely at ease with children. Many of my young clients have ended our sessions with hugs and high fives as I truly become a friend to them. I have been called a "baby whisperer" more than once and have a gift in getting babies asleep for their session and am quite talented at capturing my newborn clients smiling. I have completed many professional workshops over my 12 years in business in posing newborns and young babies so I specialize in them but love photographing children of any age, expecting couples and families.
With 5 children of my own, I have experienced it all and truly feel I have a natural gift with children. I know what it feels like to be a new parent unsure of the new journey with a tiny baby to care for. I truly understand how it feels to see your children grow fast and want to remember every detail. I have also been on the other side of the camera having my family photographed and know what concerns and questions can come up, so I know how to prepare my clients and guide them through so that they feel completely at ease at their session. I love meeting new people and documenting each child and family in a natural way that stands the test of time. Many of the families I work with see me each year and their children anticipate the fun we will have together. There is no greater honor to me than seeing all of these children grow and families change over the years and being a part of it all.
