Today my family and I went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Palatine. We were so excited to see such a big crowd of people, the sun shining in the sky and so many festive groups walking or riding in the parade. Our three boys had a blast and received so many trinkets to take home with them as well as a bag full of candy! Even though it was shorter, I believe I almost had more fun than the Fourth of July parade held in the same location. Some of my favorite things from the parade include all of the sweet kids helping out and dancing around, the
beautiful Celtic music played throughout the streets, and all of the Green! Green makes me think of spring with beautiful, bright colors everywhere!
