I absolutely love scheduling maternity sessions! They are so much fun and I love seeing the relationships between the expectant parents as well as the relationship that they have already started with their unborn child. It is also fun to be part of the “preparing for baby” process. My clients love to tell me about the nursery they’ve carefully prepared, the name they chose for their baby and the meanings behind them, and how excited they are to meet their little ones. I love that each session is as different as the couple that plans it. After the session is over, I can’t wait to work with them again and meet their new addition to the family. My hope is that it is as wonderful an experience for them in sharing all of that with me.
I really enjoyed working with the P Family and am so happy that we waited out the cold weather for the perfect day! Mom-to-be was 37 weeks along but handled the session perfectly and not once complained that she was uncomfortable. I am still convinced she had to be but she fooled me for sure! I love the changing light throughout the session too. It gave me inspiration! Love that last one in the full sun for a totally dramatic look!
Doesn’t Mom-to-be look beautiful? I know our Dad-to-be sure thought so:) I can’t wait to meet the little one on the way soon!
