Pink Skies–Palatine Photographer

Did any of you catch these beautiful pink skies Friday night?  They were just gorgeous!  It was kind of funny how I noticed this beautiful act of nature too.  I was getting my kids ready for bed and looked out the window to see some of our neighbors down the street standing together on their steps and looking up at the sky.  I almost felt like I was being a creeper watching them but they looked so sweet watching the sunset with their arms around each other.  At that point, I knew I had to look outside and sure enough there was something to see, pink skies!  I ran inside to get my camera and here we are.  I know it isn’t the same as viewing them and my compositions could have been better if I wasn’t just on my deck but I didn’t have time to drive anywhere.  I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
