Portrait Sessions

How do I schedule a portrait session?

Just contact us by phone, email, through our website or through our Facebook page letting us know the date you’d like your session. We’ll check availability and get back to you as soon as possible. $150 deposit and signed portrait agreement is due to book your session. Once your session is booked your date is reserved and your pricing is locked in.

What do I wear for the portrait session? What can I expect from my session?

How long will the portrait session take?

Petite sessions will take about 20 minutes and a full session will take about 45-60 minutes. Indoor sessions may be a little longer due to set up and clean up. Newborn sessions take about 2-3 hours.

When can I expect my proofs to be ready to view?

Your proofs will be posted to a private, password protected online gallery about 7-10 afters your session.

How many images will be in my gallery?

You will see about 25-30 images in your gallery.

How long will my gallery be available to me? Can I renew it?

Your gallery will be available online for viewing/ordering for 10 days. If you would like to renew it for another 10 days, there is a small $20 fee.

Can my friends and family view or order images?

Yes, your friends and family can view the images any time. You just need to send them the viewing instructions and password. They are welcome to order prints on the online shopping cart from the gallery or they can call or email me their order and I’ll assist them. All custom orders must be ordered through phone or email.

How do I order a custom product?

If there is a product that you want that is custom ordered, such as baby announcement cards, custom collage prints, framed art, albums, etc., please email us what product you want and we’ll guide you through the order. We’ll figure out what images you want to include and get your approval before it is ordered.

What if I want a size or product not included in the product guide?

If you see a product you want or if there is a size print that you do not see offered, let us know what it is and if we are able to order it, we’ll give you a custom quote of the product or size.

When can I expect my order after I place it?

Most orders can be expected 2-3 weeks after payment has been received. Some larger custom orders, like albums or custom framing, may take a little longer.

Are sales tax and shipping included in the Collection Prices?

No, the 9% IL Sales Tax and shipping/handling charges are added on after your order has been placed. You can choose to pick up your order to avoid shipping charges.

What happens if I have an outdoors session scheduled and the weather does not cooperate or what if my family member is sick?

If there is inclement weather or someone in your family is sick, you are welcome to reschedule the session for another date. If you cannot reschedule, a credit for any of our services will be given to you.
